Featuring 15 channels plus scan, the RP4200 radio from Relm is a water and rain-resistant solution for use in severe environments.
The palm-sized radio weighs only 8.3 oz, including the battery. Each channel can be programmed for either 25kHz or 12.5kHz narrowband operation. Channel annunciation allows the radio operator to know which channel is active with a verbal announcement. When activated, an emergency call button on the top of the unit sounds a loud alarm to alert partners of a situation. Power for the radio is supplied by an advanced 7.4-Volt, 1,200 mAh Lithium-Polymer battery, providing prolonged operating time between charges.
The radio prevents transmission interruptions by not transmitting while the selected channel is being used by another radio operator. Users of the RP4200 radio can have complete programming control with the use of PC-based programming software and cable. Additionally, programming can be quickly
copied from radio to radio via a cloning cable.
